You also become aware of what each thousand means after the break-even point, but it's an unnecessary habit, I think. People here probably have the conversion to auto in their heads as well, but certainly not the population at large. I think the norm should revolve around net figures, and quite honestly think it's crooked that it doesn't look like that.
